Architects Newspaper brought their Facades+ AM conference to Miami on October 4, 2018. Allan Shulman was co-chair for the event with the newspaper and organized three panels of speakers.

Beyond objective criteria, the question of identity in the tropical world has inspired countless iterations of adaptive architecture. The idea of tropical architecture seems relevant once again. Shedding Skin: new approaches to making facades in the tropical world will examine how practices in this dynamic area are changing and engaging new paradigms.”
