Soho Beach House honored with 2012 state preservation award
Combining the restoration of the historic Sovereign Hotel and a new tower addition, Soho Beach House has won a 2012 Florida Trust for Historic Preservation award for outstanding achievement in the field of restoration/rehabilitation.
The Sovereign, a prewar oceanfront hotel in the Collins Waterfront Architectural District (National Register 2011) was restored and expanded by S+A, in the context of the site’s reuse by the London-based boutique hotel and social club Soho House.
