This vision and planning document for Miami’s Little Haiti district is not a typical real estate project. In the face of rising speculation, it was designed to promote modest growth while preserving the neighborhood for its residents and making a positive social and economic impact in the community, encouraging walkability, and emphasizing long-term sustainable growth and prosperity. Exploring modes of community-making, nodes of enhanced activity are created that enhance a village feel. S+A's master plan proposed slow, iterative progress in close partnership with neighborhood businesses and residents.
