Planet Blue

Miami Beach, Florida | 2017

S+A was the architect for this adaptive reuse of the Franklin Apartments, designed by noted architect Henry Hohauser in 1926. The new project involved the renovation, restoration, and partial demolition of the existing two (2) and three (3) story building, and the construction of a new roof-top addition to the 2-story portion of the existing building, as part of a new retail use. The original tenants were the JetSet Franklin Hotel and, on the ground floor, the retailer Planet Blue.
