In Miami Beach in 1917, the Iva Sproule Baker School of Music opened in the original building on the project site. As the city grew, the school was adapted and expanded, eventually becoming a mixed-use hotel and residential building.

This project seeks to restore the old single room school house and convert the other structures on site to create a new neighborhood pre-school.
